Welcome

Welcome to MohairSofa, an experiement in free Pocket PC software. MohairSofa was formally known as PepeSoft, but has been renamed due to legal issues with Pepe, my ever-expanding beer belly. In its place I give you MohairSofa, a free upgrade.

What's the catch? Why nothing! All software on this site will always be free. Why? Is it that bad? No, I think it's actually quite good. I write software professionally and have sometimes been accused of knowing what I'm doing. I give it away because it is a hobby, and as such I want to reserve the right to run off on vacation whenever I want, to refuse to implement features, be irresponsible, whatever. I realize that isn't much different than most software shops that do charge for their products, but this at least gives me a clean conscience.

• I've just released Calendar+ version 2.5.2. This a minor update to correct a few bugs with the new query engine.
• I've pulled support for Pocket PC 2002 with Calendar+ 2.5.1. I've never tested it, and have been getting lucky until now. Version 2.5 does not work on PocketPC 2002. Until I resolve this I've uploaded version 2.5.1, which changes the installer to disallow installation on PocketPC 2002.
• Calendar+ 2.5 has been released. Lots of changes internally that should improve performance and reliability on WM5. Also, It's been far too long since I added new features, and 2.5 has quite a few that have been stacking up.
